National Guard, Army and Police implement a security operation in the CDMX Zócalo for tonight's Independence Cry.
The capital’s authorities reinforced security measures in the immediate vicinity of the Historic Center for the celebration of the Cry of Independence. The main access to the square was enabled on November 20th Avenue, where police officers carry out mandatory checks on all pedestrians seeking to enter the esplanade. Until 5:00 p.m., the official report recorded an attendance close to 2,000 people meeting in front of the National Palace.
The strategy contemplates the deployment of security elements to guard the Cry of Independence, the celebrations in the mayors' offices and the Military Parade.
