Sri Lanka apparel exports down 5.7-pct to US in June, up 23-pct to EU

ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s apparel exports grew 5.2 percent in in June 2025, with shipments to exports down 5.7 percent, but EU up 23.1 percent, the Joint Apparel Association Forum said. Exports to the UK also grew 20.4 percent. From January to June, exports went up 8.95 percent with EU rising 16.7 percent, the US 4.1 percent and UK 6.4 percent. Other markets grew 8.9 percent.
