A woman was successfully rescued after suffering heat exposure while hiking on Canada Day. According to the Kamloops Search and Rescue team, they were called by the RCMP around 4:30 pm to help locate and evacuate the woman. She was hiking in the Tranquille Slot Canyons and the temperature was between 35ºC and 38ºC at the time. The KSAR team were assisted by an ER physician and deployed to the scene.
