Spurned by the state, Kenova makes its own swing

The city of Kenova had hoped for an “Almost Heaven” swing when the West Virginia Department of Tourism looked for a site in Wayne County. The swing went to Beech Fork Lake near Lavalette instead. Sunday afternoon, Kenova’s localized version of an “Almost Heaven” swing became available for public use.
