Townsend and Weiss Top Vote Getters, Will Advance to April Election After City of Racine District 2 Primary

Tyler Townsend RACINE, WI – Residents in the City of Racine 2nd Aldermanic District went to the polls for the primary Tuesday, Feb. 17, and chose incumbent Alder Tyler Townsend and Alyson Weiss to advance to the April election. Renisha Murillo and Rosalind Thomas were also on the ballot. Townsend is running to retain his seat. He was appointed to the Common Council in 2025 because Alder Mollie Jones passed away.
