Michael McKee faces two murder counts after Monique and Spencer Tepe were fatally shot in their home while their two young children were unharmed, police said.

- Surveillance footage and vehicle-tracking helped Columbus homicide detectives link the case to McKee, identifying him through neighborhood video and a vehicle found in Rockford, Illinois.
- Their two young children, both under the age of 5, were found unharmed inside the home, and public visitation and funeral services are scheduled for Jan. 11 at Schoedinger Northwest.
- McKee was arrested in Rockford, Illinois, and booked into the Winnebago County Jail shortly before noon; he has a hearing set for Jan. 12, likely for extradition to Franklin County, Ohio.
