MURFREESBORO – Motorists should take note of an upcoming change to the speed limit on parts of Main Street in Murfreesboro. The NC Department of Transportation (NCDOT) plans to change the speed limit to be consistently 25 miles per hour (mph) on Main Street beginning 200 feet west of Lawrence Street and ending at US 258.
