On the occasion of Varamahalakshmi festival, the Goddess Dhanalakshmi has been decorated with banknotes at the Chamundeshwari temple in Srirangapatna. The goddess has been decorated using banknotes worth about three lakh rupees, ranging from Rs 10 to Rs 500. Chief priest Lakshmish Sharma prayed for auspiciousness for everyone. Arrangements have been made for devotees to have darshan.
