The Grundy Center girls track team won its first 4 x 800-meter title since 2010 Thursday, taking the Class 2A event at the State Track and Field Meet in Des Moines Thursday.The Spartans took the lead on the front stretch as Raelyn Steinmeyer opened with her best split of the season. Karlee Lynch extended the lead and Maddy Hendershot extended it even more, giving Grace Storjohann a seven-second lead entering the anchor leg.
