- The European Tour Group announced on Tuesday, the 2031 Ryder Cup will be held at Camiral Resort in Girona, marking Spain's second time hosting after Valderrama in 1997.
- Spain's Ryder Cup heritage began in 1997 with Seve Ballesteros leading Europe to victory, a triumph credited with boosting Spanish golf's accessibility and growth.
- The Camiral Resort spans 540 hectares with two championship courses, including the Stadium Course, and opened in 1999 before its 2008 acquisition by Denis O'Brien.
