The Dutch record in javelin throwing has not (yet) been broken. It could have happened on Saturday evening during the highly competitive Jan Dietvorst Memorial in Bergen op Zoom. The two best throwers of 2025 stood on the run-up. Along the track stood two former top throwers, now in the service of their clubmates. Ryan Jansen (20) got the crowd on their feet with his winning throw of 76.64 meters.
