Dutch investors bought shares in listed companies SpaceX, CSG, and Magnum en masse. Enthusiasm is particularly high for Elon Musk's aerospace company SpaceX. Never before have Dutch investors bought such a high amount of shares in the first month after an IPO.
Dutch investors immediately bought a significant amount of shares upon SpaceX's stock market debut. According to research by De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB), households invested a record amount. However, many shares of Elon Musk's aerospace and AI company were sold again quickly, possibly to cash in on the gains of the first few days. Later, the price fell sharply.
