- On Thursday, SpaceX published a blog titled 'To the Moon and Beyond' proposing a simplified Artemis 3 plan to accelerate lunar return and enhance crew safety.
 - Last week, NASA Acting Administrator Sean Duffy said the agency will reopen the Artemis 3 lander competition, citing Starship's development delays and prompting social-media attacks from Elon Musk, SpaceX founder and CEO.
 - Having completed 49 HLS milestones, SpaceX notes Starship has flown 11 uncrewed test flights but must still demonstrate orbital flight and propellant transfer tests targeted next year.
