Confirmation was made by the Federal Laboratory of Agricultural Defense, linked to the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply, after the Directorate of Agricultural Defense isolate the bird, perform the clinical examination and collect samples
The State of S o Paulo confirmed, on Friday (7), the second case of avian influenza in 2026. The new case was found in a marreco in the Ibirapuera Park, in the southern area of S o Paulo. Read more (08/08/2026
The case was identified in a bird of the irerê species, a species of marrec found in tropical Africa, the Antilles and South America.
