Soy Closes Its Cycle with the Best Harvest in Six Years, but There Is Alert for Future Profitability
The Stock Exchange of Buenos Aires confirmed a record production in volume. Meanwhile, a report from CREA warns that the next campaign could be unviable in most of the agricultural area.
This means a slight increase of just 100,000 tons compared to the 2023/24 campaign, when it was 50.2 million tons, but an increase of 15% compared to the average 2018/2023 (43.8 million tons). Anyway, this average is affected by what was in 2022/23 the worst season in more than 20 years for oilseed, when only 23 million tons were collected, product of a bloody drought.
