Southwick launches Citizens Leadership Academy for local engagement

SOUTHWICK — For residents who want a unique opportunity over the next seven weeks to get a close look at how their town government operates day to day, the town is holding its inaugural Citizens Leadership Academy.“I think that it’s important for the citizens to see how the government works and where their tax dollars go,” said Chief Administrative Officer Nicole Parker about the academy, which will be held in Town Hall starting on April 8.
