Southwest monsoon to bring heavy rains in Luzon until Thursday

MANILA, Philippines — The southwest monsoon or habagat will continue to bring heavy rains over parts of Luzon until Thursday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Monday.In its 5 p.m. advisory, Pagasa said that heavy rainfall was expected over parts of northern and central Luzon from Monday to Tuesday afternoon, particularly in Ilocos Sur, La Union, Abra and Benguet.Other areas that may e…
