Southwest Airlines Reveals Details About Its New Seating and Boarding Policy

SPOKANE COUNTY, WASHINGTON, JUL 24 – Southwest Airlines will replace its 50-year open seating policy with assigned seats to attract more travelers, allowing seat selection from July 29, 2025, the airline said.
