ST. CLOUD — The problem wasn’t that South Ridge pitchers gave up runs early in their state semifinal game against New Ulm Cathedral Thursday at Joe Faber Field. The problem was the Panthers weren’t hitting well enough to get those runs back in an 8-1 loss, according to coach Aaron Weber, and Greyhound pitcher Jake Finstad didn’t help matters.
