That’s the verdict from readers of Conde Nast Traveler, which ranked South Padre Island 11th among the best beaches in the U.S. The 38th edition of the publication’s Reader’s Choice Awards ranked Pensacola Beach, Florida, at number one and Navarre Beach, Florida, at number two. South Padre Island was the only Texas beach included in the ranking.
