Sound Transit work in Auburn to limit alleyway access

As early as Monday, Aug. 31 through Friday, Sept. 4, Sound Transit’s contractor for the agency’s second parking garage, northwest of Auburn City Hall, will begin work on the alleyway on A Street between First and Second streets Northwest.

Sound Transit contractor to begin Auburn alleyway work on Monday, Aug. 31

As early as Monday, Aug. 31, Sound Transit’s contractor will begin work in the alleyway located on A Street NW between 1st Street NW and 2nd Street NW. Sound Transit said pedestrian access through the alleyway will be maintained throughout construction. However, due to the different phases of work scheduled for this week, access to parking spaces may be limited at times.
