On Tuesday, someone lost a thousand pesetas ticket in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. It was between four and five in the afternoon, in a guagua that went from the Port to the center of the city. We don’t know at what stop it went up, where it got off or how long it took to discover that it didn’t carry the money anymore. Only it offered a hundred pesetas to whoever returned it: ten percent of the lost. The forgetful, at least, was generous.
