The 2025 edition of Telethon has raised more than 100 million euros for research on rare genetic diseases. A positive result, shared with all emotion by Santa, the sponsor of the latest edition, on her Instagram account.
At the time of the last Telethon in early December 2025, the meter had been stopped on 83.5 million euros of pledges of donations, but the public had the possibility to give later, which allowed to arrive at the final sum of 100 548 314 euros.
On 5 and 6 December, AFM-Telethon finally raised EUR 100.5 million compared to EUR 97 million for the previous edition. The pledges for donations had been fixed at EUR 83.5 million.
At the end of the operation on 5 and 6 December, the meter had been stopped on €83.5 million in pledges, but the public had the opportunity to give later.
With €100.5 million in donations, the 2025 edition confirms the mobilization of the French and far exceeds the total of 2024.
The 2025 edition of Telethon has crossed the 100 million euro mark of donations, confirming the sustainable mobilization of the French in favour of research on rare diseases.
