The U.S. space agency shared images of the entire solar eclipse of August 12, captured during its investigations from high altitudes and from different points of observation.
The total solar eclipse of August 12 left some of the most impressive astronomical images of the year. The Moon passed in front of the Sun and completely blocked its light in a strip that crossed through Greenland, Iceland, northern Russia, the Atlantic Ocean and reached Spain, in addition to a small sector of Portugal.
