Socure valued at $5.2 billion in latest funding, buys Fravity

The round included a secondary tender offer for employees and adds Fravity’s AI automation to Socure’s fraud and compliance platform.

  • On Thursday, Nevada-based Socure announced it raised $156 million in a Series E extension round valued at $5.2 billion and acquired Fravity, an agentic operations platform automating fraud, risk, and compliance work.
  • Summit Partners led the investment with participation from Goldman Sachs Alternatives, Wells Fargo, and DocuSign, extending Socure's funding nearly five years after raising $450 million in its initial Series E round.
  • Fravity's technology will be integrated into the RiskOS platform and offered as RiskOS Agents, bringing AI-based automation to fraud and compliance services for more than 3,000 customers across over 190 countries.
  • Andy Collins, a managing director at Summit Partners, said "Identity is the first perimeter for trust in an AI-driven economy across nearly every use case," as the acquisition addresses new cybersecurity risks.
  • Financial terms of the acquisition remain undisclosed, though Socure and Fravity already share several enterprise customers and their founding teams have collaborated across multiple companies for more than a decade.
