Former Prime Minister says that Antonio Costa could have already explained that he was the one who presented Manuel Pinho to José Socrates and not Manuel Salgado.
At the end of the first session of the judgment of the Marques Operation, José Sócrates justified Antonio Costa’s call as a witness, stating that he was the former prime minister who presented him to Manuel Pinho, and not Ricardo Salgado. He also accused Costa of maintaining silence all these years “by cobardia”.
The former prime minister admits that the distance in relation to Ant or Costa caused "some suffering, but that was h 10 years, not now".
