Social Security lost an average of 1,308 foreign affiliates in July, -1.3 per cent less than in the previous month, thus closing the seventh month of 2025 with 99,482 foreign employees, according to the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration. Social Security lost an average of 4,667 foreign members in July, 0.15% less than in the previous month, thus closing the seventh month of 2025 with 3,091,348 foreign employees, according to the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration.
In contrast, the number of foreign members of the EEA fell by 13.4 % in July compared to the June data. Of these 223,986 persons, 179,475 are non-EU members and 44,511 were from another Member State of the European Union. By nationalities of origin, the largest group of foreign members of the EEA were from Morocco (91,762 persons), followed by Romania (36,208), Senegal (16,847), Ecuador (7,725), Colombia (5,778) and Bulgaria (3,817).
