The timing of a deductible contribution to an SMSF is critical when implementing a strategy involving a capital gains tax event.

In total, between 157,903 and 244,655 jobs, either direct or indirect, have been eliminated or threatened since 2023, according to the latest field survey conducted by the second trade union centre, which had counted at the end of November, nearly 250 plans of dismissal in progress.

The CGT accounts for 381 social plans in Hexagon, three times more than a year ago at the same time. Sophie Binet, the union's general secretary, calls on the government to take urgent action.
