In April, over a million seniors will receive two transfers from the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) – a regular pension and the so-called thirteenth pension. However, in May, benefits will return to their basic amount, although the payment schedule will change.
Pensioners who are waiting for their benefits to be paid on the first or tenth of the month can expect an earlier transfer from ZUS. The Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) is postponing the payment due to the May bank holiday and weekend holidays.
