The National Health Service (NSS) will start offering Sword Health's remote physiotherapy, with artificial intelligence (AI), at no cost to users. Implementation scheduled for next week.
The technology of the Portuguese unicorn Sword Health will arrive at the National Health Service (SNS). Agreement allows to provide remote physiotherapy "in all hospitals and health centers" of the SNS.
Nine Local Health Units (ULS) in the country, including ULS Alto Ave, will be able to prescribe devices, such as tablets, starting next Monday to help users perform physiotherapy at home using artificial intelligence, it was announced today. “It’s not the user who goes to the clinic, it’s the clinic that goes to the user,” said the president and founder of the international AI healthcare company “Sword Health,” Virgílio Bento.
