Snowmass approves new short-term rental regulations, permit fees will increase

Snowmass Town Council on Monday voted to approve new short-term rental regulations, which are slated to go into effect on Dec. 30, 15 days after the ordinance was passed.  Central to the change for short-term rentals, defined as hotels, multi-family dwellings, homes, or units rented for fewer than 30 consecutive days, is a $100 increase to the annual short-term rental permit fee, changing the fee for short-term rental owners from $300 to $400.
