A storm of snow and strong winds reached the southern kingdom of Saratov, paralyzing roads and leaving thousands of people without electricity. More than 200 people were taken out of sight who were imprisoned in snow banks.

In the Saratov region, snowfalls have caused several sections of roads and congestion, and more than 200 people have been evacuated, including 50 children, as reported by the Governor of the region, Roman Busargin.
