Former Netherlands international Wesley Sneijder is not entirely satisfied with the way the Dutch football association, the KNVB, handled the appointment of Xavi as the new coach of the national team. Sneijder discussed the matter on the Ziggo Sport program Rondo and said it was strange that the KNVB had previously placed a lot of emphasis on formal coaching education but now seems to be making an exception for Xavi.
