190 Parcels on Evacuation Alert in B.C. Interior Due to Snaking River Wildfire
CARIBOO, BRITISH COLUMBIA, AUG 2 – The Snaking River wildfire has expanded rapidly to 624 hectares with 68 firefighters and aerial support actively working to contain it, BC Wildfire Service said.

- Building on Friday's focus, heavy equipment crews, having worked through Friday night, made control lines on the fire's flanks and continued direct attack along the eastern flank of the 5100 Road.
