Smoking, blood pressure and diabetes each show distinct dementia-related brain changes

Almost half of all dementia cases can be attributed to risk factors that we can potentially influence ourselves, such as smoking and high blood pressure. A new study from Lund University shows which risk factors are associated with two of our most common causes of dementia—Alzheimer's disease and vascular dementia.
