GEORGETOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A garage at an apartment complex near Grandville caught fire Friday, sending a plume of thick black smoke into the air. The fire sparked around 11:15 am. in a 30-unit garage building at Brookmeadow Apartments in the area of 44th Street and Kenowa Avenue in Georgetown Township.
