Virginia celebrates CASSCOMM for being named a Smart Rural Community SM Provider - Cass County Star-Gazette

The community of Virginia today announced that CASSCOMM was recently named a Smart Rural CommunitySM provider by NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association. NTCA’s Smart Communities are powered by innovative rural broadband providers that believe that by being connected to fiber broadband we achieve more together.

Small broadband providers offer mobility services via 'Smart Towns'

A few small broadband providers have banded together in a Smart Town Alliance to bring a form of community Wi-Fi to their rural communities, and they’re hoping to create a trend where many small broadband providers join their initiative.
