Coach Andrej Razdrh's team is leaving the European Under-21 Football Championship in last place in Group B. They have not scored a goal in three matches.

The Slovenian U21 national football team lost to the Czech Republic 0:2 (0:0) in the third and final round of the European Championship qualifiers in Dunajska Streda, Slovakia. Andrej Razdrh's team thus failed to advance to the quarter-finals.

The Czech football team finished the European Under-21 Championship with a 2-0 victory over Slovenia, taking third place in Group B ahead of today's opponent. In Dunajská Streda, goals from strikers Daniel Fila and Václav Sejko were decisive in the second half. Coach Jan Suchopárek's team had no chance of advancing to the quarter-finals before the final round.

The final round of the group stage of the UEFA European Under-21 Championship was played in Slovakia, in which the last tickets for the quarter-finals were awarded. Slovenia did not experience a miracle in Group B. They conceded a 0:2 victory to the Czech Republic and ended the competition in fourth place in the group.
