The Hungarian men's chess team tied with the Spanish team, finishing in 11th place, and the women's team beat the Slovenians, finishing in 12th place at the European Team Championship held in Batumi, Georgia, after the final round on Tuesday.

The Slovenian women's chess players lost to the Spanish women's team 1:3 in the 8th round of the European Team Championship, which is taking place in Batumi, Georgia, and fell from 12th to 22nd place; they remained with eight points. The men's chess players are also in 22nd place with eight points; after the draw with Slovakia, they lost another place.
