On Sunday evening, a violent storm swept through Bratislava, knocking a tree down directly onto a BMW X5 in the Petržalka housing estate. When firefighters called on the driver to park the car, the car reversed and crashed into a group of people, seriously injuring an 11-year-old child and a 24-year-old woman. Despite the efforts of doctors, the woman died in hospital.
