Access to the X account of British Sky News correspondent in Turkey Alex Crawford was blocked today, she confirmed to AFP, as part of a campaign that a human rights organization describes as a "wave of censorship that has become a tsunami."

Within the scope of the "obscenity" investigation, the X account of Sky News correspondent Alex Crawford (@AlexCrawfordSky), which was among the accounts blocked by the Bakırköy 4th Magistrates' Court's decision dated September 13, 2026, and numbered 2026/9112, was made invisible from Turkey by X on October 5, 2026.
