Skunk Cabbages Flaunt White Flowers Across Hokkaido Wetland in Early Bloom

White flowers of the Asian skunk cabbage, or mizubasho, hit peak bloom in the Makunbetsu marsh in Ishikari, Hokkaido. The wetland, which lies at the mouth of the Ishikari River, is well known for its clusters of mizubasho.
