Skeletal Remains Found in a Park in Fukuoka; Passerby Reports Discovery (Kyodo News)

Around 5 p.m. on the 17th, a passerby reported to a police officer patrolling the area that they had found "something resembling human bones" within the grounds of a park in Jigyohama 1-chome, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City. A skeletonized body was found in the bushes of the park, and the Fukuoka Prefectural Police are investigating the identity of the remains and whether a crime was committed.
