Sixth annual Juneteenth celebration returns Saturday in Talladega

TALLADEGA — The sixth annual Juneteenth Freedom Celebration is set for Saturday at Amanda Bingham Park in Talladega.

Set for this Saturday is the eighth annual Benton Harbor Juneteenth Parade and Celebration. Juneteenth event co-chair Ethel Clark Griffin tells us the whole community is invited to come and celebrate history and emancipation at Dwight P. Mitchell City Center Park.
