In a memorandum, the BJP alleged that criminal cases were being registered against its party workers and political activists for submitting Form 7 objections, and claimed that the police machinery was being subjected to political pressure
Former CM B.S. Yediyurappa has expressed anger over the FIR registered against BJP workers on the basis of allegations of misuse of Form-7 during SIR. The harassment of workers should stop. Otherwise, he has warned that he will launch a statewide protest. BJP leaders have met DG & IGP Salim and submitted a request.
