Alabama Among Others to Test Psilocybin Treatment for Veterans

The 60-patient phase 2 trial found large symptom reductions and no treatment-related serious adverse events, researchers said.

Two sites in Alabama will be among others for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to test the effects of psilocybin therapy for veterans with PTSD and depression.
