Singer Richard Ashcroft banned from driving after speeding on motorway
- On January 7, Lavender Hill Magistrates' Court disqualified Ashcroft from driving for six months and ordered him to pay nearly 3,000.
- Ashcroft was recorded exceeding the limit on February 19, 2025, driving a green 2018 Mercedes-Benz G-Class at 48mph on the M4 motorway at Brentford; his lawyer Conall Bailie said he pleaded guilty but missed the hearing due to an unchangeable commitment.
