Two record labels wanted to sign with Apeldoorn singer Elieve (34) last year. So far, this has resulted in, among other things, the song "Je weet pas wat je hebben" (You Know What You Have). But it was her new single "Leerde van mijn vader" (Learned From My Father), a personal song about the tensions with her parents, that really convinced the labels. That song was released this week.
