Given the “massive aging of the academic staff”, in the period 2025-2029, the Universidad Au-tonoma Metropolitana (UAM) will increase 36 percent its teaching staff of indeterminate time, for which, the incoming rector general, Gustavo Pacheco López, plans to accelerate and energize the recruitment processes and add 250 professors per year during its four-year period.
