PETALING JAYA – Singapore has overtaken Kuala Lumpur as the world's most polluted major city after recording an Air Quality Index (API) reading of 211, placing it in the very unhealthy category. Based on the latest reading, Kuala Lumpur is in second place with an API of 194. Kuching, Sarawak is also listed in the top 10 most polluted major cities in the world.
